one of the many qualities i could use more of. hence the lack of posts. hehe. gah. so I'm going to Chicago on the 27th. =) woot. i'm going to keep this short, as i have run out of intelligent things to say. l8r.

So Mrs. Collins woke us up and asked us if we'd go get a couch down the street that was going to go in the trash. (I might add we were still in bed at the time) so we reluctantly crawled out of bed and looked out the window at the couch down the street and decided to make a movie out of it. Hence this movie. :P

chicago, batten down your hatches, because here i come.

the title says it all. =P i'm packing all my stuff up, and some time around 8am tomorrow, my dad, sisters, and I are heading for Chicago. we'll be driving most of Thursday, and loading a u-haul truck most if not all of Friday. Saturday we're going to see some friends in the morning, and attend a wedding reception in the afternoon. Sunday morning my Dad and sisters and a friend will be driving a 26' u-haul truck and a ford f250 with a trailer 12 grueling hours back to Arkansas, while I stay behind and hang with friends for a week. =] i'm like way exited. i've had all my clothes packed for hours, and am now working on packing all my electronics. hehe.

2008 Presidential Elections

Mark Collins showed me this video... this guy has a lot of good points, and he's very well spoken. If you have the time, i'd highly recommend watching this video. Definitely food for thought.

Water Head Copper Moccasin. lol.

So today we (me, my dad, and my brother josh) only worked a half day. After work we figured we’d go exploring a nearby mountain. Upon arriving, we learned it would be $17 per person to take the ski lift to the top. None of us were really in a mood to spend that kind of money, so we decided to try and hike up. (I might add this is a 10,000ft peak) After getting several bottles of water, off we went. After hiking a few hundred feet, Dad told us to watch out for snakes. At the time, I completely brushed it off, assuming Dad was joking. Little did I know... About an hour later, I had wandered about 100 yards ahead of Josh and Dad. I pulled myself over this rock, only to find a Rattle Snake coiled up just a few feet in front of me. All I can say is my prayer life quadrupled within milliseconds. Forget moving slowly like they say... I JUMPED. I was NOT staying around there. haha. As soon as I had gotten what I deemed to be a safe distance from the snake, I thought that I had better take a picture or no one would believe me. I slowly crawled back on top of the rock, and took a quick picture as the snake slithered under a rock. All I can say is I experienced enough of a scare to last me the rest of the year. The picture you see is the one I took... Anyways. That's all for now folks.

pirates of the carribbean: at worlds end (that's how you'll feel when the movie is over)

well the title says it all folks. i must say i was disappointed. the whole storyline left you thinking "oookay..." but it definitely put an end to the series. can't say i'm too mad about that. hah. anyways, on a scale of 1 to 10, i'm going to give it a 3+ (i'm only giving it a plus because keira was in it haha.) so if you're trying to decide whether to watch pirates, or spiderman 3, i would choose spiderman. =]

aight, i'm outta here. gotta get some sleep.

my new blog

okay... lets face the facts. based on past actions, i usually update my blog for a few weeks consistantly, then i get bored. lol so if you're lucky you might get 10 or so posts before i get bored ;-)
